FRAND CASE IN BETWEEN APPLE AND OPTIS DECIDED BY THE COURT

An interesting FRAND case in between Apple and Optis decided by the Court of Appeal in London in dismissal of an appeal by Apple against an order that it must take a FRAND licence from Optis. Court of Appeal’s ruling could render the result in which the implementers of SEPs are obliged to take licenses determined by courts or face with preliminary injunctions in cases where an SEP is valid and infringed.
